Voices of Appreciation for Our Ministry over the years

Foreword for our coming book on Grace by Royce A. Harris   M.Div

I believe in divine appointments; God bringing people together for a short or long season.  Such was the case when my wife and I answered an ad on the internet for office furniture.  We had been searching for weeks as we were into major renovations and building three audio and video recording studios designed by engineers out of Dallas and Los Angeles. This day we walked into a total stranger=s home where he showed us the office items. The items were immaculate and within minutes we agreed to buy them.  The seller had a very Aquiet@ demeanor.  It's what His peace brings. I didn't know anything about this gentle giantand he didn't know anything about me but I knew in my spirit that this meeting was a God thing happening.

Roger introduced himself and began sharing openly with us who he was; that he had done prison chaplaincy in western Canada and had been pastoring in a few locations, and that he and his wife were preparing to leave Canada for ministry in the UK and Africa. He then handed me a book which contained his testimony, and then gave me a second book that his friend had written called AChild of Woe by Maurie Blair. I mentioned that Maurie has been my friend for years and that I had been involved with prison ministry for 42 years across Canada, the USA, UK and South Africa.  As my wife and I drove away, I knew in my spirit that I was to help Roger and Flo fulfill their vision.

Over the next few months, we kept in touch.  Changes were happening so fast with the development of their overseas ministry, that they were leaving Canada the first week of June. A lot of things had to be arranged with settling their affairs here in Canada, getting rid of their belongings and arranging their international flights.  We were in the midst of a world wide COVID 19 pandemic with airlines stopping flights into other countries.  I watched them as they prepared for this new God adventure; when most folk their age would be looking to retire, they were getting rid of ALL their belongings and leaving for the other side of the world with a few suitcases. The last two weeks of May their international flights were changed 11 times. Flights came together within the last two days before they were to leave Canada.  They left Canada and two days later were holding services in Nairobi, Kenya.

Now to back up just two months.  The end of April Roger mentioned he had written a book about God's grace and asked if I would write the foreward to it.  I said I'd be honored to do it and a short time later I received the draft.  I read the draft; underlining and highlighting things on almost every page.  I would read one chapter at a time and process the material.  This book has impacted my life. His definition of God's grace resonated in my heart.  Grace is the empowering  Presence of God enabling YOU to be what He called YOU to be, and to do what God has called YOU to do.  Grace is His very Presence in YOUR life.  Grace is God Himself released in YOU to bring about His purpose and plans.  My emphasis in bold print. Roger has brought in scripture from the Old and New Testaments on God's grace and it is amazing grace.

I encourage every believer to read this book .it will change your life. God's grace will empower and enable YOU to be what He has called YOU to be and to do. It will put a solid foundation for you to stand on; I guarantee that your faith will grow and your relationship with the Father will be stronger. I mentioned at the beginning of this foreward that I watched Roger and Flo from my first time meeting them as, they walk in what he has written. As Ive seen video reports of their ministry presently happening in Africa, God's grace is flowing through them as they minister and train pastors/leaders, in church meetings with believers being encouraged and lives being changed.  And the Father wants to work through you to touch people in your circle of influence.  BLESSINGS.

Revivals of Deliverance Ministries

Let me introduce you to one of God's finest, one of God's graceful soldiers.

I have known Roger Gamble for some time. I have eaten with him, ministered with him and for him. He has something to speak into our lives - let's learn. When Roger speaks, it is from personal testimony and experience. The hand of God has sustained him against personal and financial odds that would drown so many who were not living by Faith. The average Christian (and minister) has not gone where this servant of God has gone. His ministry to the shut-ins and the less fortunate speaks of a track record of God's amazing Grace to the faithful. His ministry to bikers and others has lifted Jesus to His rightful position. The fulfilment of peace only comes from Him.

As Roger takes you on a journey toward fulfilment, faith and grace, go with him. Allow him the honor of removing the cobwebs of confusion and dysfunction so that the glorious light of God's Son of Righteousness can shine through. Feel the thrust of his sword, as he endeavours to illuminate the unmeasurable grace of our Lord.

Edmonton Remand Centre

This reference is written to introduce Roger Gamble and show a little of what the Lord is doing through Roger and his ministry. As the Protestant Chaplain at the Remand Centre, Roger and I have ministered to many and to each other in past years. I know that the Lord has been and is doing a great work in and through Roger. I have witnessed lives being changed and many commitments being made as Roger shares the Good News of Christ with others.

Roger came into the Remand Centre as a contract volunteer doing follow-up for those who have made their commitment to Christ, helping them to grow in their faith. This confirms and shows the depth of Roger=s commitment to doing the Lord=s work. I pray that you will not hesitate to welcome Roger and his ministry to serve in your community. I know that you will as be greatly blessed by the Lord through them as I have been.

What Revival Fires of Freedom Believe

The Bible: We believe the Holy Bible is the Inspired Word of God. It is the only basis for our beliefs. We believe all 66 books of the Bible are inspired by God, and are therefore the inerrant Word of God. The Bible is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live. (Matt. 5:18; John 10:35; 2 Tim. 3:16).

The Trinity: We believe that the one true God exists eternally in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that these three, being one God, are equal in deity, power and glory. We believe that God not only created all things, but that He will bring all things to their proper consummation in Christ Jesus to the glory of His Name. ( Eph.1:9-12; )

Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man. We believe that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and offered Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners. By the blood of His cross he bought us eternal redemption and eternal life. He was raised bodily on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father, there to intercede for the saints. (Matt. 1:18-25; Rom. 8:34; Eph. 1:1; Col. 1:15-23). We also believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Lord is not just an empty title we add to Jesus' Name. Bringing every area of life into submission to Jesus as Lord is the believer's great challenge and privilege. As Christ is allowed to rule and reign in all parts of our beings, we find our greatest protection and fulfilment. (Luke 6:36; John 14:23)

Salvation: We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Christ alone. No ordinance, ritual, work or any other activity on the part of man is required in order to be saved. This saving grace of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, also sanctifies us by enabling us to do what is pleasing in God's sight in order that we might be progressively conformed to the image of Christ. God's Holy Spirit enables us to make right choices and then empowers us to stay on the salvation road. (Eph. 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:1-2).

Grace: God's grace has been made available to all Christians. Grace is God's empowering presence that enables us to become all he has planned for us. It enables us to complete every mission we are called to by His Spirit. (Eph. 4:7; John 1:16; Rom. 5:17; Heb. 4;16)

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit, in whom also we are sealed for the day of redemption. At or subsequent to conversion, the Spirit Of God fills, empowers and anoints believers for godly living, ministry and witness. We also believe that signs and wonders, as well as all the gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament, are operative today and are designed to testify to the presence of the kingdom and to empower and edify the church to fulfill its calling and mission. (Matt. 3:11; Acts 1:8; Gal. 3:1-5).

Heaven & Hell: We believe that when the Christian dies he/she will forever dwell in blissful fellowship with God. We also believe that when the unbeliever dies he/she is consigned to hell, there to await the Day of Judgment when he/she shall be punished with eternal separation from the presence of God. (Psalm 16:11; 2 Cor. 5:4-10; Rev. 20:11-15).

The Second Coming: We believe in the literal second coming of Christ at the end of the age to personally consummate His kingdom. We also are believing in prayer for a great end-time harvest of souls and the emergence of a victorious Church of unprecedented unity, purity and power in the Holy Spirit. (1 Thess. 4:5; Rev. 7:9-14; 2 Thess. 1:10-2:8).

Water Baptism & The Lord's Supper: We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are two ordinances of the church to be observed until Christ returns. Water Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. They are not a means of salvation, but are channels of God's sanctifying grace and blessing to the faithful in Christ Jesus. (Matt 3;13; Acts 2:37-39; Rom. 6:1-4; Col. 2:8-12) (Lk. 22:17-19; 1 Cor. 10:16-17; 1 Cor. 11:23-26).
